Versatile live video artist Oka works with a wide variety of (dance) music events around Finland & shies away from no genre, eagerly bending her visuals to ethereal ambient or violent electronic beats. Having first sprouted roots within the Helsinki electronic music underground in 2021, her branches have since reached a multitude of commercial events & venues. Despite the hobby turning into a profession a connection is yet maintained with projects closer to heart.

The most connection Oka has felt with observers while performing has been through cats. Whenever a kitty graces the screen(s), a collective warmth & excitement sweeps over. People's faces turning into a grin, some recording a clip, others even coming to express their joy directly.In celebration of these moments of interconnection was the feline-centric VJ set performed for the first time at Domestic Techno Inspection in March 2024, and further exploration shall commence in this edition of Aavistus.
