Angelica Tibblin Chen is a filmmaker, photographer, writer and costume/leather designer. She is the eyes ears hands and co-founder of international company JOY.EUX making film, art and fashion revolving the music projects of French artist and composer Yoann Durant.

Angelica’s previous work has often been in dialogue with music, whether it has been about dressing rap artists or pairing hiphop music with human dialogue as in radio drama ”Nanna, MC Mårten & The Young Black Teenagers”, written for and produced by Sveriges Radio in 2005.

Since taking up photography and filming in 2021, Angelica is consistently in search of framing and finding form in the moment, trying to intuitively capture what is not staged - the sometimes seemingly unreal realities of light and dark, movement and stillness, nature and what is human-made.

Working mainly out of Stockholm, Paris and Marseille, her main sources of interest are the Mediterranean light, rap silhouettes, sports fashion and filming sea birds in flight.
